Softimage XSI Adds OpenEXR Support

Avid announced today version 4.2 of Softimage|XSI. Among the new features included there is support for OpenEXR, both importing them as image clips and into the FX Tree and also as an output format. Other notable features include the inclusion of Behavior 2.0 in Advanced, a NXN Alienbrain plugin, compositing and hybrid vector and raster paint In Essentials, subsurface scattering included in mental ray 3.3, and many more.
