Official Star Wars Site Gives Episode 2 Status and Mentions Compositing

The Official Star Wars site has posted an update on the work done for Episode 2. Lucas says 800 shots are final with another 200 close to completition and seems ILM is ahead of schedule. Also the Jedi Council section has a question about blue and green screen, answered by Jeff Doran, compositing supervisor from Episode 2.

Besides speaking of his career, he will present "Work in Progress", the ILM short animated film presented at SIGGRAPH 2001.
