Last night the 4th Annual VES Awards, recognizing the best work from 2005, were handed at the Hollywood Palladium. ILM won in 3 categories, all for their work in War of the Worlds: Best Single VFX of the Year, Best Models and Miniatures and Best Compositing. Former ILM members John Lasseter and Jim Morris were awarded special awards for their contributions to the industry.
