Chris White Creates NY for King Kong

KongisKing.net has posted a brand new production diary on Peter Jackson upcoming remake. This installment deal with the recreation of old New York City via sets and digital means. Former ILM artists Chris White explains how the CG version is being accomplished.

Chris White started his career at ILM as an intern, where he helped Henry LaBounta develop tools for the digital tornadoes in Twister. He worked on such projects as Mars Attacks!, the two Jurassic Park sequels, The Perfect Storm, Space Cowboys and the first two Star Wars prequels, among several others. He later joined Joe Letteri at Weta Digital to work on The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. You can watch the video here:
