ILM Gets Timeline, Roger Guyett to Supervise

Variety is reporting that Paramount Pictures has awarded ILM the FX contract for the film version of Michael Crichton's Timeline. Roger Guyett, fresh from his duties on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will supervise. The film will be directed by Richard Donner.

Industrial Light & Magic has been chosen to create the f/x for Paramount's medieval actioner "Timeline". Based on the Michael Crichton novel of the same name, "Timeline" revolves around a group of graduate students who travel back to 14th-century France on a mission to rescue their trapped history professor.
