ILM did some work on Steven Spielberg's Munich, supervised by Pablo Helman, and Adam Shankman's Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
Munich, which stars Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, Ciarán Hinds and Geoffrey Rush, is inspired on the true events of the 1972 Munich Olympics where 11 Israeli athletes were murdered by Palestinian terrorists and the aftermath of Mossad agents tracking down and killing them. Pablo Helman recently worked with Spielberg as one of the Supervisors for War of the Worlds.
Cheaper by the Dozen 2 stars Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Piper Perabo, Tom Welling, Hilary Duff, Eugene Levy, Carmen Electra and Jaime King. The Baker family headed by Steve Martin is pitted against the Murtaugh while on vacation. ILM previously worked with director Adam Shankman on The Pacifier. Recent interviews with Steve Martin and Eugene Levy mention a sequence (seen in trailer 2) which required minor VFX where they are balancing on a log while hanging from wires (that had to be erased).
