Richard Edlund, who worked on the original Star Wars trilogy, had his own VFX company and is probably the most important VFX representative for VFX at the Academy, will get back to the business of movie magic. The Hollywood Reporter has an article saying that Edlund has created a production company, and one of its projects is a miniseries based on the classic sci-fi novel The Forever War, written by Joe Haldeman. Mr. Edlund will not only develop projects but will go back to VFX supervision.
